North Carolina State University and Wake Technical Community College offer the city higher education close to home.

The city of Raleigh offers many fun things to do to add to the culture of the city. There are many museums such as the North Carolina Museum of Art, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, North Carolina Museum of History, North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame, and many others. Sports in Raleigh

The Carolina Hurricanes – a National Hockey Team’s franchise moved to Raleigh in 1997. The Carolina RailHawks, the North American Soccer League also play in the city. the Carolina Mudcats baseball team, and several other professional sports leagues have franchises in the city including the Arena Football League, Raleigh Cougars, US Basketball League and many more.
